If There's a Hurricane ...
NOAA is predicting an active hurricane season. What could you expect to happen at CFC in case of a hurricane (or other severe storm) warning?
CFC senior pastors will determine if/when to close the CFC office and if CFC worship services and/or other church activities will be cancelled. CFC will follow any ruling by local authorities to evacuate.
Announcements of any closings or cancellations will be placed both on the church phone answering system and on the website as soon as the decision is made. To find out if worship services and/or other activities are cancelled, call the church office (262-3000) or check the website. At times, the decision to cancel Sunday worship services can't be made before Saturday, so be sure to check on Sunday mornings before you come. If, during a hurricane, the phones are out, you may assume the church office is closed.
When NOAA or local authorities have declared the hurricane and any associated danger has passed, we will place appropriate announcements on the phone answering system and website, if and when power and service are available.
