These questions are designed to help you understand how God’s Word applies to your life personally. These questions are designed to help you understand how God’s Word applies to your life personally.
1. (For Family Group Leaders: Though this is the first question each week it is the most important one. This question allows you to hear what people have personally taken away from the message.)
What was encouraging or challenging to you from this week’s teaching?
2. Why are you deserving of the wrath of God? When did you become deserving of His wrath?
3. Why is Jesus your only way to God? How does living a moral life relate to your salvation?
4. If you have been born again, but then you sin, are you deserving of the wrath of God? How does your sin impact your relationship with God?
5. How would you respond to a person who says “I want Jesus to forgive me, but not be my owner”?
6. What is presently keeping you from entering the narrow gate of salvation through Jesus? If you have entered, what kept you from responding to the Gospel the first time you heard it?
7. What do you think about this line from a country music song: “Everybody wants to go to heaven but nobody wants to go now?”
