1. What was encouraging or challenging to you from this week’s teaching?
2. Read John 4:35-37. What is that passage saying?
3. What was your reaction to the statistics Dr. Murray quoted?
4. Did they cause compassion to rise up within you? Other feelings? The definition of compassion includes “with an accompanying desire to alleviate the plight…”
5. What do you plan to do/change as a result of this teaching this week?
6. Read Romans 10:13-15. How does this apply to #5?
7. Paul is clear in Acts 18 that when the people of Rome came to meet him and hear his report, it greatly encouraged him and caused him to give thanks to God. We should consider doing that for our missionaries.
8. “What a huge harvest! “Jesus said to His disciples. “How few workers! On your knees and pray for harvest hands!” Matthew 9:37,38 (The Message) Close praying for the nations, for workers for the harvest, for senders, and for whatever else you think of.
