About Our Children Programs
The CFC Children’s Ministry is all about helping your children fall in love with Jesus and experience His abundant life. It's also all about helping parents become equipped and successful in fulfilling your God-given role as the spiritual leader and trainer in your home. We know that the greatest impact on the heart of a child happens when the family and the church partner together.
We have Children's Ministry programs available for children, newborns through fifth grade, all three Sunday morning hours and on Wednesday nights.
Our Sunday morning programs include Sunday School and Children's Church. On Wednesday evenings our children have the opportunity to be involved in Children's Choirs and Pioneer Clubs.

Nursery Sundays: Newborn to 2 Years Old
Our Nursery offers five age-level areas, fully staffed, to provide a safe, loving environment for your baby.
We are also concerned about their spiritual growth. Our "Play, Say, Pray, My Church Today!" Program ensures that every child in our nursery will hear scripture and be prayed for each Sunday. Parents will also receive a copy of "My Church Today" each week.
Preschool Sundays: Ages 2 to 5 Years Old
The Park (8:00-9:15 and 11:00-12:15)
Praise and worship are the focus in The Park (Preschool Children's Church). This ministry also teaches Old and New Testament Bible stories and includes music, playground, snack, and activity time.
First Look (9:30-10:45)
Preschool Sunday School introduces children to God's Word as they learn Old and New Testament truths. Directed teaching time and lesson enrichment activities compose the Sunday School hour.
Three Critical Truths in the Preschool Years:
God Made Me, God Loves Me, and Jesus Wants to be my Friend Forever!
Our preschool Sunday programs are designed to give our youngest learners a first impression of our Heavenly Father. As our little ones learn the basics of our faith, they begin to understand:
God made me and everything else wonderful in this world! He is creator and the beginning of all things!
Foundational to our preschoolers is learning that God loves me! God is always with me, and we can trust Him because we know He loves us!
Elementary Sundays: Kindergarten through 5th Grade
Early Church (8:00-9:15)
First Church for grades K-5 offers a small classroom setting for learning and spiritual growth.
UpStreet (9:30-10:45)
UpStreet is an exciting program for children in grades K through 5. UpStreet combines a small group experience and a large group teaching and worship time. Children are split into grade level age groups.
Clubhouse is a small-group discipleship program for elementary kids. The focus in Clubhouse is to strengthen and build a child's faith foundation and relationship with Jesus. In their small groups, students are mentored and challenged to take steps of faith each week.
We start with 3 simple principles, 3 basic truths that are modeled in a passage of scripture found in Luke 2:52. There, it says that Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.
In other words, when you look at that passage, you recognize that God, for whatever reason, decided to reveal to us a strategy about the development of Jesus … that he grew up in wisdom, he grew up in favor with God, which is faith, and he grew up in favor with man, which, in children’s terms, is friendship.
At CFC, we would love to see every child in every home embrace these three truths …
We want our kids to walk into their adult years and say, I need to make the wise choice. We know there will be times in their lives where they will go through some difficult waters, and to navigate through life they must learn to make the right choices and decisions. We know that God has given us truth, through His Word to help make those decisions.
Second, we want our kids to say, I can trust God no matter what. Regardless of what others do, regardless of what the circumstances around me suggest, regardless of what life throws in my direction, I know I can trust God. He will always be there. He will never abandon me.
And third, we want our kids to learn to love others and say; I need to treat others the way I want to be treated. We know Jesus modeled that for us.
Pioneer Clubs (Wednesdays): Ages 4 Years - 5th Grade
Pioneer Clubs is a Wednesday evening program with the theme, “Christ in Every Phase of Life”. A personal handbook is utilized for Bible study and earning various badges and awards.
As friendships are beginning to form, we want our little ones to know that there is no other Friend like Jesus and that Jesus wants to be my Friend forever!
Precious Promises Preschool
The Precious Promises Preschool is a weekday developmental preschool program for children age one through four years. A variety of two, three, and five day programs exist.
