Men's Bible Study Fellowship, International (BSF)
The Men's BSF meets at Christian Family Chapel on Mondays 6:55 - 8:45 p.m. in the CFC sanctuary.
To Enroll at BSF
To enroll, simply show up at the CFC sanctuary any Monday evening at 6:55 p.m. and tell a greeter that you are interested in going through "BSF Introduction" tonight. That's all there is to it. There is no charge for attending BSF. There is no obligation of any kind to continue. We hope every man attending CFC would at least attend the "Intro Class" so they can learn firsthand what BSF is about.
If you are interested in the BSF class at CFC and would like more information, contact David Plyler. For a comprehensive description of BSF International, go to www.bsfinternational.org.
BSF for Children
Men may bring their children, grandchildren or legal wards (grades 1-12) to the BSF children's program held at the same time. Children should arrive at 6:45 to be checked in. The children study the same Bible texts as the adults, but with age specific lessons and materials. Children learn to do homiletics, to understand principles from scripture, and to study God's attributes, just as the adults do.
What is BSF?
This comprehensive interdenominational Bible study program helps you gain a practical understanding of God's Word. Held each week in 37 countries around the world, BSF International began in a California living room a half-century ago. BSF has grown to include compelling classes for women, men, young singles and children all around the world. BSF International offers a 7-year program of studies (September through May). As your understanding of the Bible increases, you will find your relationship with God deepens. The purpose of BSF International is for each Bible student to develop a vibrant personal relationship with the Lord. All BSF programs around the world study the same topic at the same time. This year's study is "The Life of Moses."
BSF uses a 4-fold approach to studying the Bible:
- Daily questions for individual Bible study
- Discussion groups
- Challenging lectures
- Study notes
