Ministry Summary, Purpose, and Vision

Acts 2 Student Ministry

Twelve men lived with Jesus for about 3 years.  They left everything, their plans for the future, what was comfortable, and what was familiar to be trained by this traveling preacher.  His vision captured eleven of their hearts and finally they began to see clearly why they were born.  They were being called into a bigger story than the one in which they had lived all their lives.  In Acts 1:8 they are commissioned by a resurrected Jesus to reach the world with His message of redemption.  In Acts 2 we see these men respond under the power of the Holy Spirit to Christ’s call.  Declaring to a Jerusalem crowd, Christ crucified, buried, and resurrected, they step into a new age, the age of the church.  An age where Christ followers, empowered by the Holy Spirit, are mobilized to impact the world for Christ.  We are Acts 2 student ministries because, like the first disciples, we are being mobilized to impact our world for Christ.

Mission Statement:

To know Him and make Him known to all people, especially students.
