Guiding Principles

In every aspect of the Single Adult Ministry, we adhere to the following guiding principles:

• Maintain a balance of spiritual growth, relational
  development and social interaction.
• Equip singles as ministers investing in one another, the Church, and the community.
• Support spiritual, emotional and relational healing and wholeness.
• Build a Biblical foundation for future relationships.
• Provide a platform to extend the hope of Christ to those who don’t know Him.
• Discuss topics that are both unique to the single phase of life and common to all believers.
• Emphasize internal leadership development.
• Coordinate with other ministries at CFC and other local ministries.

Relationship-building opportunity is foundational in all components of this ministry. These include teaching, discussion groups, social events, service projects, and mentoring opportunities.

In addition, this ministry looks forward to:
- Supporting programs within CFC or in partnership with other churches for singles in crisis (i.e., Divorce Care).
- Connecting with the community through city-wide events like Jax Metro and other local singles ministries.
