Tommy Ullum Memorial Scholarship Fund
Thomas Calvin Ullum, Jr., was eldest son of Tom and Pat Ullum, long-time members of Christian Family Chapel. Tom Ullum, a CFC Elder and gifted Bible teacher, is at home with the Lord. Pat continues to be very involved in the ministries of CFC. Tommy Ullum was a gifted teacher of God's Word and was instrumental in beginning the youth ministry summer internship in which he served during the summers of 1992 and 1993. Tommy's life was marked by his pursuit of "the more excellent way," the way of love. At age twenty-three, during his training at Dallas Theological Seminary, the Lord called him home to heaven to find rest and peace from his four-year battle with cancer.
It is our desire as a church to provide financial assistance through the Tommy Ullum Memorial Scholarship Fund to those whose character, love and passion for ministry carry on the memory of Tommy Ullum. Since 1997 the Tommy Ullum Scholarship Fund has distributed funds to 20 different CFC students in the amount of $85,000. If you would like to contribute to this important fund, please make your checks payable to CFC and designate the scholarwhip fund in the memo section.
