Answers to FAQ's
- Where is Christian Family Chapel located?
CFC is located on Old St. Augustine Road in Mandarin. For more details please see our map and directions (links to Google Maps) or give us a call at 904-262-3000 if you need further directions. - What time is CFC's service?
CFC has three Sunday morning worship services in the main auditorium. Worship service times are 8:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. We also have children's and adult fellowships overlapping the services - for a detailed schedule, see our weekly schedule. - Are there programs for my kids?
At CFC, children are a BIG part of the population! We know that as a parent you need to be sure your children are in a safe learning environment - and are having fun while they learn. To see all that is available for your kids please see our Children's Ministry. - What should I expect when I visit?
You can expect a lively, contemporary time of praise and worship, followed by expository teaching from our Pastor/Teacher, Doug Rutt, or a guest speaker. Holy Communion is generally offered twice a month, and all believers are invited to participate. As our guest, there will be nothing required of you in terms of giving. A visitor card is available; we invite you to fill out the card and drop it in the collection plate or give it to an usher, then come to the visitor's hospitality area after the service. We'd like to meet you! - Is there a dress code?
We are informal at CFC, and your khaki's and Dockers are perfectly acceptable. Seldom will you see suits and ties, particularly during the summer months. - What's the best way to get involved?
Come and visit us on Sunday mornings. You can pick up information about our children's programs and adult fellowships and classes, and we'd be happy to tell you about Family Groups and other small group opportunities. If you're looking for a place to plug in - a new church home - by all means, check us out!
